How to use a promo code
Promo codes give you discount on Dreamhost hosting costs. In order to redeem a code, copy the code from the home page and fill it in under 'promo code' on the payment screen.
Step 1
Go to https://signup.dreamhost.com and choose your hosting plan.
Step 2
Choose your FREE .com domain. You could alternatively choose a subdomain off dreamhosters.com (yoursite.dreamhosters.com). If you choose the subdomain, you won't lose your free .com. You can redeem your free .com whenever you choose.
Step 3
Step 3 is choosing your username (servername used for uploading your site) and your first email address.
Step 4
This is where you create a Web ID for logging into Dreamhost's control panel. If you already have a Web ID, you can use it to sign in here as well.
Step 5 - redeem that promo code
This is the big one. This is where you enter your promo code and get your discount!. Step 5 confirms your hosting plan and asks you to enter any optional promo codes. Fill in your code. and thats it!
Step 6
Payment. You can pay for your Dreamhost hosting in a variety of ways. Credit card, Paypal, Dreamhost gift certificates, checks or even money orders.
